Last year I came across an EP by a group unknown to me. It was the Ayrton Senna EP by Delorean. Formed in 2008 and featuring the former drummer of Crystal Castles, Cameron Findlay, Parallels feature the vocals of Holly Dodson and synthesizers of Joey Kehoe.
